كفرناحوم :
قرية صَيد في الجليل على الساحل الشمالي من بحيرة الجليل (تُسمَّى أيضًا بحيرة جَنْسَرْت).
وقد كان الرسول سمعان بطرس يملك منزلاً كبيرًا في تلك القرية، وغالبًا ما كان سيدنا عيسى يقيم عنده هناك. كفرناحوم هي القرية التي حمل فيها بعض الناس رجلاً مشلولًا على فراش وصعدوا به إلى سطح الدار التي كان عيسى يعلّم فيها، ثُمَّ أنزلوه من فتحة في بلاط السقف، إلى الوسط قدّام سيدنا عيسى، حتّى يتمكَّن عيسى من شفائه.
Capernaum / Kafr Nahum:
a fishing village in Galilee on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee (also called Lake Gennesaret).
The Apostle Simon Peter owned a large house in this village, and the Lord Jesus often stayed there. It was in Capernaum that some men carried a paralyzed man up to the roof of a house in which Jesus was teaching, removed some tiles, and lowered him down in front of Jesus, so Jesus could heal him.
